WATER COMPANIES COLLABORATE TO SOLVE JOINT REGIONAL CHALLENGES

Two of the country’s leading water companies are coming together in an industry first to present one of the biggest innovation events that the eastern region has ever seen.

Anglian Water and Essex & Suffolk Water will host Innovate East, a three-day event at Trinity Park Showground, Ipswich on 10, 11 and 12 September 2019. Bringing together some of the most creative and progressive minds from across the globe, attendees will be encouraged to unlock new ways of thinking in a unique and exciting environment.

Registration for Innovate East has now officially opened. Those wishing to attend the three day event are encouraged to sign up to guarantee their place at the biggest innovation event of its kind to come to the east of England.

Hosted by Anglian Water and Essex & Suffolk Water over 10-12 September, Innovate East will tackle some of the most pressing challenges facing the water industry, our region and our society. Working in a series of sprints and hacks, attendees will put their heads together to find answers to issues in four core areas: digital twins, leakage, natural capital and social purpose.

It is anticipated that 800 people will attend each day, with utility experts, academics, engineers, scientists, commercial businesses, students and customers expected to be among the guests.
